To kick off the new season, a three-hour leadership workshop was held with around 20 students from KA-RaceIng eV and the Rennteam Uni Stuttgart eV. They were accompanied by three experienced coaches from EVOMOTIV GmbH, who contributed their leadership expertise in an interactive format.
The focus was on key topics related to leadership and self-organization:
- make decisions
- Conduct praise and potential discussions
- Motivation and self-management – with regard to structure and systems
The participants worked in groups on specific questions and then discussed their ideas in plenary sessions. All students will assume leadership roles within their teams in the new season – the workshop specifically served to prepare them for this responsible role.
The feedback was consistently positive: practical, appreciative, and on an equal footing. The desire for further formats was clearly expressed.
